THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA
Acrylic on canvas, 60" x 72" (framed) — 2025
by Justin Michael Wadlington
Enter The Alpha and The Omega, a painting rooted in Philadelphia Eagles history. A figure in green represents Bert Bell, the franchise's founding owner and the man behind the creation of the NFL Draft — a legacy honored through a nod to sculptures housed in Canton, Ohio. Alongside him stands Jalen Hurts, wearing number one and carrying the promise of a new beginning. The painting marks a moment in Eagles history, arriving the same year the franchise crossed above .500 for the first time ever, and captures the meeting point between an ending and a new start.
The Alpha and The Omega is a conversation piece for any space, honoring the beginning and the beginning again.
Giclée print, gallery-wrapped canvas, framed over 1.5" wood. Made in USA. Hand signed and dated by artist Justin Michael Wadlington.
