There's a bunch of cool fun facts about this painting
Here's a few.
The gentleman in green is supposed to be Burt Belll, the founder and first owner of The Philadelphia Eagles. He was the Beginning (Alpha) of the Eagles history. Interestingly enough, because of the Eagles' poor record throughout those years, he created a way for bad teams to have a chance to get better. His creation was the NFL Draft. Bell was also responsible for so many other things that paved the way for the NFL being what it is today.
The original sculptures in the painting are sitting in Canton, Ohio, and they symbolize Bell's legacy. So i felt compelled to add it into my painting. The name of the sculptures is called "The Nfl Draft" by artist Gail Folwell.
Jalen Hurts is a Dream Chaser who has already accomplished so much in his short career at quarterback. I'm sure this is just the beginning for him. He wears number 1 on his chest and on his back. Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet. He's also apart of the fraternity Omega Psi Phi. Alot of beginnings and alot of endings in this painting.
With the 2025 Superbowl victory, the Eagles are now 667-665-27 (including playoffs) as a franchise! This marks the first time in their franchise history where they are above .500 in wins and losses.
This painting also marks the beginning of a new era and end of an old one. Alpha and Omega. Beginning and End.
Let's hope the overall winning lasts for a very long time. As long as we continue to do our best, it'll always be a win!
