"A Thousand Titles" by Justin Michael Wadlington , 2025.
Let me start off by saying, I am very satisfied with my latest work , "A Thousand Titles".
During the painting process, I changed the names and titles so many times, that one day I said "This painting could have a thousand titles". Then a lightbulb went off, and "A Thousand Titles" became its forever name.
I want the viewer to not only see the familiar imagery in front of them, but rather dig a bit deeper. There are stories and concepts hidden in plain site that ultimately lead to a revelation.
I'll give you a hint...
It involves a journey that starts in the material world, then continues through the spiritual world, and beyond. The journey will have many peaks and valleys, as well as many familiar faces. It will be up to the viewer to find meaning within.
This journey can also be viewed from the reverse perspective. The Sun rises in the East and sets in the West. The fire isn't at the bottom, but in the middle. One has to go through the metaphorical fire to truly recieve the gift of enlightenment.
I hope that this painting will continue the tradition of storytelling through Art.
I also hope that my modern twists of old works created by the Masters of the past, along with the additions of imagery from the present, as well as the teachings of all ages woven within, will be studied on a deeper level for all time.
I want to feel as though I'm continuing a conversation and expanding it as well. The thing about us humans is, believe it or not, we are more similar than we are different. Everything in this existence is a shared experience.
A Thousand Titles.

Bonus Note:
A blank canvas is like an empty room in your new home. You walk in, and decide what you want that room to look like. After you come up with the concept, you proceed to go out and get the items that will make your vision come true. It will always be interesting to hear what guests have to say when they arrive.
